In an exciting new collaboration between two leading lights of their generation of traditional singers, George Sansome (Granny’s Attic) and Matt Quinn (Dovetail Trio) sing traditional folk songs from the British Isles, both unaccompanied, and accompanied by mandolin and guitar. Their well-blended voices and close harmonies create a warm, enthralling sound and their English folk instrumental styles complement each other perfectly.
Matt Quinn is known for his solo work focusing on traditional songs from Sussex, and is a skilled performer with a distinctive voice and sprightly mandolin style. George Sansome, who also performs solo, is a deft guitarist with a rich, sweet voice.
Their debut album, Sheffield Park, was released in 2023 and was well received.
